howdy all

new here and wandering if any get togethers in east TN
or many members on this side

i have a 77 ranger 302 auto/air/ps/pb etc... 70000 miles
and i would like to get her out and see others rides

None in middle either. Siberexpress is in east TN, but I don't think he visits much and not in the chapter.

I found this site off the back window of a slick little white late 90's or early 00's

If you hand around until next spring when the Supernationals get close, they'll come out of the woodwork. We used to get a good turnout for the Pigeon Forge show, but I don't know how Knoxville lends itself to meeting others.

well i'm not in the tn chapter, or in east tn, but i'm in the chapter. i'm n. ga about 30 mins. from chattanooga and approx. 2 hrs southwest of knoxville.

Fuel prices and storms have thrown a wrench into a lot of things, but the gas and diesel prices have come down a little anyway.

Winter is usually the off season for most motorsports too. A good time to carve a hole in the garage and tinker with things...

It'll not go back to where it once was, never does, but takes forever for everyones income to catch up, even longer for those on SSI, so the disabled and elderly have it the hardest. With many relocated hurricane victims, jobs are scarce too. Winter ain't no savior to those with gas heat, it's the opposite this year.
Gotta head to East TN Wednesday, be with my parents in Seymour for Thanksgiving.

Don't let those oil companies get you excited about these lower prices.

They can go lower, much lower. They are raping us now & have been for years.

I got a job offer from the area (Maytag I think). I moved too slow in responding, but I'll bet I would like the area better than Memphis!

Maytag is in Cleveland I think. Just up the road a few miles. They are screaming, begging, & crying for help right now. I think it has something to do with those hurricanes that wipped out the appliances down yonder.

I love it here. The town is actually called Apison, but it is a suburb of Chattanooga.

I live in Cleveland, Tn, drive a 66 F-100 with a 508 Caddy engine. I think the forum is going to place me on probation, but it's my ride and hot rodding started out with guys like me that didn't need the factory to determine what was best for their ride. So if you see a farm green pickup with stained batter boards on top of the bed sitting at Home Depot ask yourself, feeling lucky?
