I need to replace my front bumper but the dealership wants about $980 to replace it for me. That's about $600 parts and the rest labor. I have a friend with a shop that can do the install for a good price but I'd have to get the part.

Anyone know where I could order it from?

EDIT: Sorry, it's a 2004 Black Expedition XLT (with the gray molding on the bottom)

 

Try and find one from the junkyard, or e-bay, or check local truck custom shops, they might have a take-off they'd be willing to sell for cheap.

 

check out J.C. Whitney catalog. Usually good prices. Can only expect it be much less than the stealers.

The front bumper cover encompasses the grill, too. (FWIW.)

 

There really isn't much of a bumper there under the front facia. It is just impact absorbing foam set into a rail support system. Some idiot used the front of mine to stop him from coming too far into my parking spot. He cracked my absorbing foam and put stress cracks in the paint of the facia. I went to get an estimate for repair done and found out that you need to replace the entire front facia. Unless you go to a junk yard, you will need the entire front facia. It isn't available from ford parts in individual pieces. (or so I was told by the autobody shop.) It is going to cost 1500 bucks to repair. And to top it off, the above mentioned idiot is now claiming he didn't hit me. Now I gotta fight this moron to get it fixed. Too bad I got a witness that saw the two vehicles sitting together and was there when he admitted and apologized for hitting me. What a colossal waste of time.
