ABS sensor

Could someone please tell me where exactly the front ABS sensor is located on a 1995 Explorer?

Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, it's on the steering knuckle behind the rotor. Turn the wheel all the way to the lock. You should be able to see a wire going into the sensor on the back of the knuckle.

It is on top on the front wheel bearing hub assembly. To access it, you need to remove the brake caliper, caliper bracket, splash shield. One hex screw holding the ABS sensor. The sensor is all plastic, an O ring on the sensor body, so it is a tight fit in the hole. Spray lots of liquid wrench around it before attemp to remove it.
Clean the mounting surface with wire brush, apply grease before install.
