Question freeze plugs

ok I have an 89 F-150 witha 4.9L inline six, I was just wondering if it would be ok if I tapped the freeze plug back into the block or if i have to change i..I mean it never actually came out, just drains my radiator in a couple of seconds

Definitely change the freeze plug! They dont seat in very well after they've been tapped out. It just takes a little pressure from the cooling system to pop them out if you happen to reuse one.
