Installed the daystar and have no regrets. Do not like Tough Country it made truck ride harsh, daystar did not.

question(s) for Blue Blooded

Hey Blue Blooded ... Thanks for the link, just started looking at front end lifts. I have an 05 screw 4x4 and think these are the way to go. I only want the 1.5" front lift, I think any higher and the front looks higher than the back. Never messed with suspension before, can you tell me :
- What tools do I need to install?
- How long did it take you? - I may attempt myself if I do not have to mess with the coils...
- Did you need an alignment after installing?

thanks

I went with an AutoSpring 2.5". Have no complaints about it what so ever. Ride is identical, these thick metal spacers sit right on top of the strut tower so assembly is a snap and shock height and ride aren't affected at all. If you want a perfect level look go with the 2", the 2.5 raises the front just a hair and that would be my only complaint if I were to have one. The new design is offset slightly and brings the strut in toward the vehicle just a scant amount so that at full extension the top suspension arm doesn't hit the strut spring. Very effective design.
