Correct year Speedo
New member with new 66 truck. Son was told he has a 66 F250, but after admiring some of the pictures on this forum I noticed his speedometer is the round one (maybe 65 and earlier?) with a gauge on either side - not the rectangular. Is it possible to mix and match these (dash opening same size for the panel)?

The sweep speedo came on Custom Cabs for only the years 1965 and 66, unless I am badly mistaken.
Standard cabs and all trucks 61-64 had the round speedo.
I believe the 65 and 66 under dash wiring harness has provision to swap in the CC sweep, so they should be interchangable.

Welcome to FTE !
Hello & welcome to FTE, our happy home on the Web
The answers above are correct, and the hole in the dashboard that the instrument cluster panel is the same I'm not sure about the harnesses being different. But that sweep dash is also more common on the 65-66 F600- F900
trucks such as tractors or Dump Trucks. . . .
