Atlanta Race

Is anyone going to the nascar race this month? That is about the only time I get to northern half of Ga anymore. I used to live just north of Blue Ridge, about 10 years ago, and i miss it.

I also want to join the chapter so will someone let me know when I can.

I have been lurking around the site for almost a month, a few posts, and I like what I have seen.

I have told a few friends with Fords about the site but don't know if they have been on yet.

I have been to the atlanta races a few times myself. I don't make it anymore ticket prices have gotten way out of my league. I will let you know about when you can join the chapter when the moderators/administrators let me know when they are gonna give me the tools to accept people in the chapter. In the meantime just jump right in and enjoy yourself. When we have our next meat and eat you are more than welcome to come and we would be happy to see you there. Thank you for telling your friends about the site.

Hey Kyle- welcome to FTE Ga., Most here are great but beware of some.
Watch your smokes, beer and female cats. Also, some don't flush so get lotsa lysol....

Hey Kyle, i see your signature shows a 78 supercab w/460 - WOW I like that body style, i would like to drop a 460 in one of my 79 broncos - oh well one day

3bc that would be an excellent swap, as I am certain you know, you already got the right tranny for it in the 79's.

Thanks 3bc, I haven't seen another one just like it around here. My friend thinks he is getting the 460 for his 84 bronco, no way!

I just missed getting free infield camping and pit passes. My father was offered these tickets. He isn't into racing and he knew I already had tickets so he turned them down. By the time I heard about it they were gone. Man I could have sold mine and partied in the infield. Oh well, I am still going to have a great time.

I had a BLAST!!! I never camped at the track before. Almost a non stop party. I wasn't able to keep up. I had to sleep some. The people I was staying with had a golf cart and paid almost $1,000 for the permit and insurance to drive on the speedway property. I don't think I walked a 1/4 mile all weekend.

Partied in the infield Saturday night, that was a great party.

The only thing that would have made it better would be for the whole family to be there too, although that would have ment a lot less drinking.
