Steering wheel for a 98 F150.

Guys, my steering wheel has about had it. Well, it's rubber/vinyl, whatever it is, and is peeling everywhere, basic wear I guess. I've got a ton of miles on my truck, but it still looks good, and I'm not ready for a new payment just yet.
However, I would like to fix this. Steering wheel covers, I can't stand 'em....at least the ones I've seen, (cheap ones that don't even cover everything.

Any suggestions? I would think an entirely new steering wheel may cost me a few bucks, and with airbags and all that, sounds like it could be a difficult job too.

If there were a really good leather kit or something that truly covered my steering wheel, not so I could feel every spot it didn't cover, (that's why those covers dirve me nuts, ) I'd try that first.

If not, where do I get a new steering wheel?

Thanks

If you don't want to do the Wheelskins, then start checking your local salvage ysrds. You should be able to find a factory replacement there.

Now that would be a killer deal....if you already had the harness in for it. Otherwise I heard it is a pain to mod the wiring for it.
