Gear shop in tucson

Need good shop reccomendations here for front and rear gear instalations on my f-350. Tucson Diff quoted 900 for labor only. Seemed kind of high. But I have never done a gear change before. Any ideas would be great. Not looking for cheapest but most reliable place.

That's actually a pretty decent price for front and rear gears. I don't know of any shops in Tucson but SDHQ in Mesa does good work and is reasonably priced (if you can drop it off).

FWIW- I just moved from AZ to PA a few months ago, SDHQ does awesome work and stands behind their work and products. They made me some custom mudflaps before I made the drive out here to PA. The mudflaps tore apart behind the exhaust (from running high rpm's in the hills) in Texas. When I finally got here in PA, I called them up, explained what happened, and they sent me out a new set with no questions asked.

Let me know how it gos whatever you choose. I am probably going to regear mine when I get back to AZ next March. I live in Casa Grande so I'm in between Phoenix and Tucson.

SDHQ has told me 1600 give or take for parts and install. I am thinking about checking ford's price as well. I have a 10% coupon and they said they are warranteed. Maybe SDHQ is better?

My only experience with SDHQ was going to get a pitman arm for my buddys 2wd truck, which they said they had in stock, but had to be ordered when I got there and they didn't have it.

Was that $900 labor for both front and rear? In Cottonwwood I was quoted $2600 complete front and rear.

2600 is a rip, go elsewhere.
