Three men were sitting together bragging about
how they had given their new wives duties.

The first man had married a woman from Kansas
and bragged that he had told his wife she was going to
do all the dishes and house cleaning that needed done
at their house. He said that it took a couple days
but on the third day he came home to a clean house and
the dishes were all washed and put away.

The second man had married a woman from Texas. He
bragged that he had given his wife orders that she was to
do all the cleaning, dishes, and the cooking. He told them
that the first day he didn't see any results, but the next day
it was better. By the third day, his house was clean, the
dishes were done, and he had a huge dinner on the table.

The third man had married a girl from Oklahoma He boasted
that he told her that her duties were to keep the house cleaned,
dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed and hot meals
on the table for every meal. He said the first day he didn't see
anything, the second day he didn't see anything, but by the third
day most of the swelling had gone down and he could see a
little out of his left eye, enough to fix himself a bite to eat, load the
dishwasher, and telephone a landscaper.

Got to love those girls from Oklahoma.

Thought of some more this morning while I was getting angry just listening to the radio.

You think any song by Garth Brooks is an instant hit.

You think a fancy entrance to the convention center is more important than hiring additional police and fire fighters.

You think some people shouldn't have to pull their weight because their ancestors were inconvenienced over 100 year ago.

You think the state sign has changed from "Road construction ahead" to "casino, next exit".

I thought of several more, but they are not polite so I'll keep them to myself.

 

btw i actually got this email from a friend and it said chevy 3500 4x4 and i changed it and sent it on.

.....you see 6 bazillion trucks with the "COMMERCIAL VEHICLE" stickers on them, but they are always seen in the local mall parking lots, or at many of the food places on 'Restaurant Row' on 71st & Hwy169. (It must be nice to get special priviledges for those vehicles and then just blatantly use them for personal travel.)

.....it only takes a light rain or mist to get a few dozen rear end collisions on Hwy169 on any given day.


.....it only takes an inch or two of snow to get several cars in the ditches or median of Hwy169. (You'd think many of these people would know how to drive in rain and snow??....)

.....you could spend 20-30 minutes in stop and go traffic for all the 'geniuses' to rubber neck at an accident that has already been cleared off to the side.


.....we have multi-million dollar Indian owned casinos, many discount Indian smoke shops, and now a Lottery, but we still have cruddy 3 point beer. (It's not a knock on Indians, but on watered down 3 point beer.)
