What Happened Racer Guy?

I was coming home the other night when my truck went into over drive around 55 mph and then it kicked up hard out of od then back into od.

It did this about 8 times.
No engine light, od button was off. So I took the battery cable off and cleaned the positive terminal, while I let it reset.

The next day .. Nothing, like it never happened. and has shifted fine since.

I know you don't have a crystal ball but what do you think.

A bad TRS (Transmission Range Sensor) can cause that type of problem.
If it happens again you could take it in to your dealer and get it scanned for codes. Autozone and some places like that don't seem to be able to retrieve memory codes which is why I recommend the dealer.
