Source for '63 Heater Core

Just found a puddle of Glycol on the floorboard and it appears the heater core is leaking. Can't find a source for a new core online after looking this evening. Any ideas? If not, I may have to have this one rebuilt.

Thanks.

Hi Dave, I don't know if the core is the same as the 66, but if it is, you can call for one for a 79. I had saved the part number somewhere but forgot where I saved it.

I am sure someone will be along shortly that will know if the 63 and 66 are the same. Barry is our parts number guy and can verify it.

THe core number started out as C2TZ 18476-A, superceded to C5TZ 18476-B, which was superceded to E3TZ 18476-E. Which is now obsolete. It fit from 61 thru 1983 on F-series trucks.

hey Just a thought, I just found the same puddle in my 62 and took it to a local radiator store. They re-cored it for me for $70.00. It works great and I might actually have heat during this long Michigan winter. Call around first, one place wanted $125.00, and this place much less. It took him about three days to do. -Tman
