Soooo, since i'm here in calgary now and am able to meet with some of you peeps here, i've decided that we will be having a gtg for everyone that wants to come. Now this is nothing special, most likely meeting place, Loco Lou's on the corner of 14st and 16 ave, right across from sait. It will happen on either october 28(thats a friday, but if it comes down to it can be pushed back or ahead a day), in the evening (say 7o'clock, but again if it works out better to hold it early then the time can be changed). Then i we're not to intoxicated and ya brought yer trucks (or cars, as long as its cool ) we'll go for a cruise of sorts and hit all the good spots (for this i will need help as i don't know calgary that great yet)

SO chime in and let me know if everyone's up for it. (i'm planning on having some decals ready to go by then too if it works out)

 

K, i know oyu guys are out there , instead of asking i'm telling , from now on this topic will be updated every single day, as it will not die (and if no one responds by next weeks i'm gonna send out some pms and alert the locals of it )

Cody. the reason you are likely not getting too many responses, at least based on my 26 years living in Calgary, is that Oct 28 is already the dead of winter in Calgary.
I am not kidding when I say I can barely remember a halloween, and certainly not in the ten years that I escorted my kids around there trick or treating, that it wasn't cold enough to freeze some critical parts off a brass monkey.

But good luck on that, maybe you'll get a bit of indian summer there for your cruise, with any fortune.

Yeah i was aware of that when i posted this, the main goal of the cruise and what not is mainly to attract people to it and hopefully come on out at least to loco lou's for a bit of fun and get it to be a bit more active in here, as its been really dead in here over the past 5months, and i'm hoping this will get people interested in meeting others and break that first barrier.

But anyway i know there are others , in a week i will attempt to send out a bunch of pms/email to all the calgary locals and anyone in the the area.
