Yeah, but I didn't see your truck this year. Sorry I missed you. It was a good weekend. I'm sure we'll be back for next year's Dash. Look for Rusty and me in his '57 flamed Panel. Mine won't be close to done yet, but hopefully it'll be closer. I got a mini step closer yesterday. I went to visit Pappy Vance over in Hannibal, Mo. He's an IH guy and has a matched set of Budd rims that'll fit and aren't all rusted. They're not the exact Budd Part# I'm looking for (have a slightly deeper dish), but they'll work until I can find more of the originals. Yeah, sorry I missed you. Next year we can argue nose-to-nose.

Oh, and speaking of truck shows, have you guys noticed like I have that the unusual trucks at such events are the ones that draw the attention? I think people are starting to catch on to the value of these bigger rigs. The F-8 at last year's Dash was one that I thought got the most attention. And this past Spring at the Super Nationals in Knoxville, Glenn Putnam's perfect F-2 got similar attention. Stu

I didn't bring my truck this year. I trailered it part way last year, I own some property about thirty miles from the Dells and stayed there on Friday last year. This year I couldn't get the trailer and I didn't have the time to drive it all the way to the Dells in the F-2. I hope to have my F-4 running by next year and have both the F-2 and the F-4 up there.
