No power in my 1990 Ford Ranger 2.9

I just junked my 1990 2.9 v6 ranger. I dealt with this for over a year. Im telling you its the head gasket. the 2.9 is a faulty design. one cylinder gets slightly hotter on the exhaust stroke and this causes the gasket to give out slowly. my gasket actually caught on fire while my father in law was driving it. please just get a new ranger. i know you have faith in your truck. i did too. as awesome and sexy as it was, it will never be that way again. it is not worth the stress, time, or money. i loved my ducky and it broke my heart to scrap him. my ducky was my baby. i miss him
