Expy Air Ride

It wouldn't be a bad idea to replace them (rear air-bags) if you intend to keep your ride for a long time. There are a couple of things you may want to pay attention to first, if you're thinking of preventive maint for your LLS (a.k.a air-ride).
I have slightly lower mileage as you for the same year (XLT) and I recently replaced the front 'air-shocks' (same time as rear shocks replacing them w/ Bistein), replaced the compressor drier (strutmasters.com) and at the same time sort of repair the compressor isolator/suspension, and in the process of replacing the $20-union/connector found under the hood which is prone to breakage per this forum. I was hoping that these preventives move will help in extending the life of the system.
If you should 'service' the compressor (for example, replace the drier) found under the washer tank on front passenger side under the hood, consider getting an upgraded isolator/bracket (ask dealer, they should know about it, I found about it here in this forum AFTER I'm all set, and too lazy to do it again) BEFORE dis-assembling, will save you time. And if you do need to replace the drier, you don't need to cut the hose apparently but the orange rings around the hose is the very tool to do the job (I did cut it not knowing any better at the time).
Plenty of discussion about this matter, feel free to do search on LLS (Load Leveling Suspension).
Here is a picture of the union/connector (part#2L1Z-5B322-AA), you may want to start by replacing this one (order it now! before it's too late):
Hope this helps, good luck.
