Talking Interchangeable Interior parts?

Are the interior parts interchangeable on these trucks? By interior parts, I mean the wood trimming around the AC, Radio and the wood trimming around the door area?

If so, does anyone with grey or black interior want wood ????? I am willing to trade !!!!!

The woodgrained dash trim is only available on the Lariat, and the Lariats only come with auto temp control, so the dash trim is not interchangeable with XL, XLT, or FX4. Your best bet would be to paint it or perhaps wrap it in a mylar or similar material. Good luck

rougeriver,

Thank you for your response. I didn't know that wood only came on the lariats. I guess I'll go back to my original plan of getting a dashkit.. they are a bit expensive though..

Question

Not meaning to hijack this thread, but i also have a question about interchanging interior parts.I currently have the 40-20-40 front seat.My question is can the "20" section be removed and a supercrew xlt center console(not the one with the shifter) be put in its place? If it fits would anybody have one available for sale in the color tan? Thanks

My truck 2005 xlt supercab flareside 4x4 , 5.4 with 3.73 limited slip

Another option is a company like phoenix imaging. You go to their website, pick out a woodgrain or carbon fiber, etc. design you like, then mail in the parts you want done. They put what you want on the parts you want.

yes it can be done. Saw a post not long ago where they were trying to trade consoles for the same reason. I think it was in the thread about the "secret compartment" which is the area under the 20% lower section. Try a search and hope you find something.
