Question Anybody running 285/70/17 on stock rims?

I'm looking at the BFG muds or goodyear MTR in that size and was wandering if anyone has run either in this relatively new size and how well they balanced on stock rims for highway driving. Anyone? Thanks!

Content deleted, my 95 has 16" wheels and is a different truck so what works on mine may or may not work on yours.

I have 285/70/17 Toyo A/Ts on my stock wheels (chrome steel). No problems with fit or balance. Fills the wheel wells better, Speedo was 3 mph fast with the stock tires, dead on now. It's a load range D tire but my weight rating stayed the same at 3195 lbs at 65 psi instead of 80 psi. Not really an issue for me anyway.

That is my plan too. Bought F250 grey steel wheels for $60 a set and have my Goodyear MTR's on order. Since the F350's have 33" tall tires stock the speedo should be very close. Cooper makes this size in the STT model. Just another option.

Width is approx 11.5". So you could say it's approx a 33-11.50-17.

My tire guy says they are 7.5" like all the other 17" wheels Ford uses.

The guys @ SDHQ (gilbert) say that 315/70-17s will fit with a leveling kit. The don't say how much tire wear is accelerated however.
