Tim,

Welcome aboard and nice truck. If my truck looked that good I'd be looking at some polished SS bumpers for it. I bought a pair for my truck at $275 each.

Tim,

Welcome to the board!!! What a fantastic looking truck!!! I just love Cragars

I agree with vern, No sense in putting a twisted old rusty piece of steel on that beauty, go for the stainless. There are fibreglass running boards available for your truck also

Good luck

Welcome to the site. You have a good looking truck. The green looks good with the Cragars. I can't help you out with running boards or a rear bumper, but I'm sure someone here can.

Thanks 2bocat..

It says for an 49 F-100. I need to email the seller to see if that is compatiable with an F-1.

Thanks JetJock.

Stess,
Read trhe sticky at the top of the forum list. There is a great article about parts interchange that Bob has posted. It should give you all the info you need about what runnign boards will fit your truck. I think that only the panel trucks were different but check the chart to make sure

Yea Bobbytnm.. I was reading that, but I just noticed that it was listing the difference between F1 thu F7 or so, not F-100. Maybe I just read it too quickly. I have a bad habit of that. Thanks!

Pro49,
How about some pics of those running boards? I'd love to see them, perhaps it will give me motivation to try my own. My original are pretty beat up

The F-100 desgination didn't start until 53/54.
If someone is selling a someting for a "1949 F-100" its for a F1.

Once they get past one letter/one number they're too modern for me.
