Gas Saver?

Does installing a bed cover on a truck save gas? What has been your experience?

Some say it does some say it hurts it. My opinion is even if it helps some it would not be enough to recoop the costs of a bed cover. Could not hurt to put one on if you want a bed cover for other reasons though.

In my experience (2002 F150 Screw 4x4) we are seeing about 1mpg increase after the tonneau versus not. Don't know that it is enough to put one on just for that, but since we needed one anyway. . .

i got any extra 1 mpg but i like it for all the other reasons keeps things from blowing off keeping them dry and still being able to roll it up and use the full box.
