I've got a lightly moded 292 Y block in my 64 F100. I'm running a Holley 600, pertronix ignitor and coil and will be installing headers and dual exhaust when my headers get here.

What spark plugs should I be running?

I took my stock manifold off this weekend and to my suprise there are no exhaust gaskets. Will I need to get gaskets when installing headers?

As was discussed 6-12 months ago or so, Y's originally came without exhaust manifold gaskets. I think you will have to run them with the headers, due to slight surface variations in the header flange.
As to spark plugs, run whatever you are running now. Autolite 46 or the equivalent. Open the plug gap up to .040.
