I know you can remove trim with a heat gun, but what about the emblems/badges? I've got a 1993 F-250 and i wanted to remove all this shat. Does anyone know how the badges are held on, like pegs in the body or 3M tape?
does anyone know if the rear badge on an 04 has pegs on the back of it? I thought I saw somewhere that they do but I want to be sure before I remove it and I didnt want to start a new thread. Thanks
It's just held on by tape, use a blow dryer or heat gun and peel it off. I used 3m adhesive remover to get the left over tape off the truck.
WD40 is a fantastic adhesive remover. I work on high dollar equipment that adhesive is a major issue. Spray it on, rub it in with you finger and it comes off straight away.

yep, I put some 04 badges on my 97. I had to cut the pegs off b/c they did not line up w/ my holes.
