DeBadging/Removing Trim

I know you can remove trim with a heat gun, but what about the emblems/badges? I've got a 1993 F-250 and i wanted to remove all this shat. Does anyone know how the badges are held on, like pegs in the body or 3M tape?

Thanks for the help.

It's just held on by tape, use a blow dryer or heat gun and peel it off. I used 3m adhesive remover to get the left over tape off the truck.

WD40 is a fantastic adhesive remover. I work on high dollar equipment that adhesive is a major issue. Spray it on, rub it in with you finger and it comes off straight away.

yep, I put some 04 badges on my 97. I had to cut the pegs off b/c they did not line up w/ my holes.

My 1991 had pegs on the fender emblems, so after removal I had to tack weld the holes.
