An older Mustang ???

I was talking with my stepson tonite and he informed me that Ford had made a Mustang in 1968 (I believe) called "The Marshall" . I have never heard of this, but he said he heard it on Barrett-Jackson auto auction. Originally (2) of them had been produced.

Any info on this ? Just curious.

I didn't see that one in my Mustang book, but Kar Kraft made a lot of special edition mustangs for Ford, including the Boss cars.

Maybe he meant the two Boss Lawman Mustangs. They were 1970's. Seems hard to find much info on them, but they were two Boss 429 Mustangs with an 8-71? supercharger. Supposed to be putting down 1200hp. Anyways they were used to tour for troops in the Viet-Nam war, I guess to let them see what was going on Muscle Car wise in the USA.

I believe you have hit it on the head. I do remember special editions now on these cars. Never did see one though. Nice photo.

Thanks,

One of the Lawman cars was crushed in an accident during shipping. A shipping container fell on it....so sad....
