Chrome

I have a 292 currently with a chrome air cleaner and stamped chrome ford valve covers. I know there are alum accessories avalable such as a valley pan but does any one sell chrome accessories?? I would like to find the correct style oil cap in chrome and maybe a t stat housing and possibly pulleys but i am not shure on thoses yet. also a chrome dip stick?? Or maybe alum t stat housing?? also do they make chrome gen and starter covers?? maybe brakets as well?? thanks

cb. I think you are out of luck on the chrome accessories being able to be purchased outright. You would have to find a chromer and have your stock parts plated. There are chrome alternators if you replace your generator. Also available are chrome oil filters as well as oil filter covers. The push on style chrome breather caps are a universal style, not like the original.
If you look at my gallery there are motor pics showing some of the plated accessories you want.

I think you're in luck on the oil cap, Larry's has the correct '55-'57 Thunderbird cap for $26.55, part number T 6766B. www.larrystbird.com
