Well dias.....325miles is approx550km'sand 18gal tank, which is what we have.A little math of 18 gal divided by 325 miles or 550 km's.....equals 18.05555 miles per gal. What's so strange about that????I drive city hwy hard and soft.I can easily get 19 miles per gallons with soft driving the entire tank.

you can't figure gas mileage very accurately that way.
You need to mark your mileage down with a full tank, drive until it is low, fill the tank, and divid your miles traveled by how much you just put in your tank.

I get a consistant 14-15 mpg on my 2002 5.4 with 75% city/25% hiway and I am not afraid to stomp on the gas

Ya maybe as I said before ......Us gallon or imperial gallon. My truck has a canadian 18.5 gallon tank which probably works out to 25 gallon us.There is a big diffrence with our usa members.I wish they would take this into consideration. The USa is still using it's own method of measurment. It adds up quick.18mpg in canada is great miliage for a truck....Which I would assume is 15mpg is good in the USA.....I could be pissing someone off,but it's not intentional.I would just like to get to the bottom of this US and imperial gallon stuff.Am I out of line here or what?

Just chiming in on the MPG issue. 2003 5.4 Screw with 45,000 miles on it. I also drive like a slug. Mostly city miles. I have been using the FTE ownersite maintenance program to track my fuel consumption since 12/23/2005. My average is 12.78 MPG US. No chips or mods, just stock. I just wonder if all the people stating 19, 20, 21 MPG are calculating correctly. Maybe I am just envious!

I used a superchips tuner on my 97 4.6 w/183000mi. I did notice my mpg went way down. Since I have returned the tuner I constantly get 15-17mpg 70% highway and 30% city. I just filled up this morning and got 17.2mpg. I did drive more conservative last time. I get less if I stand on it a lot.
