Post Here I come NC

I'm on the hunt for some land on a mountain, something that can handle a 30 X 60 steel building and a 2500sqr ft.+/- house. Were looking between Waynesville and Maggie Valley north to state line. Can any one give me any info or place to look. My wife use to live in boone and boone is nice, But I dont know about the land and work. What is the work like up there.

Thanks,

OK, I'm tossing the 30x60 shop. I am needing info on work in and around Asheville or there abouts. I'm coming up first week of oct. to check things out and look at land. But a big move wont be happening for a year or so. Any info would be great. Thanks

Beautiful country, but living in Raleigh I can't help you with any information. There has to be somebody from this group out that way....

Dogman check out this site it might give you a start on looking for jobs in the Ashville area. There is even a spot on there for real estate. Hopes this helps some.

Try www.realtor.com for info in property. It will also lead to realtors in the area who can lead you to newspapers etc. Good luck.

Dog, If you think you like that area, why not rent for 6-12 months looking when you are not cramped so much for time. You can keep up with the area through www.realtor.com.
