Have you ever seen the commercial...
...where there is a GMC (i think sierra) cruising at about 60 down an alleyway, when he passes a garage and then you see some lights flip on a a truck take off? This truck is the new F-150, and GMC claims that their "no other trucks can keep up with ours". HELLO??? It's a truck going 60 mph down an alley way, of course a truck at a complete stop can't keep up. This is just their way of felling "special".

anyone remember
A looong time ago, ford had a commercial where it had a chevy laying across the back of the pickup and its climbing up a pile of concrete blocks.. an UTTERLY stupid and unbeivable commercial, but to me, ( being a kid then) I thought it was cool.
All these new commercials are just stupid and idiotic. seen the One where the Chevy pulls the back hoe out of the mud?

How about the one from awhile ago with the guy in the Chevy trying to pull a boat out of the water, just to roll backwards into the water itself while a guy in a superduty just watched and laughed, at the end of the commercial the guy in the superduty pulled the Chevy out of the water with the boat still attached, I liked that one.

this commercial was already talked about on FTE but it is still my favorite one. a guy with a Dodge 1500 with the HEMI in is pulling a trailer with a Charger on it, (you know which one i'm talkin about) and a guy with the new F-150 pulls up with a trailer with an old mustang on it and the Ford driver asks the Dogde driver, "that thing got a HEMI?" the Dodge driver says, "yup" and the other guy just nods. the light turns green and you see the F-150 leave the Dodge, i love that one.

Nothing like a resurrection.
What I noticed about all the new truck commercials is that they all seem to compare themselves to ford. "More _______ than F150" or "Better _________ than F150". What's funny is most of the time it's the topped out model against the 4.6L
F150. I guess to be the man, you have to beat the man.
