Oil leak?

Hi, I just bought a 1999 F-150 ext. cab 4x4 with 5.4 with 98000 on it and now I have 101000 on it and the other night I noticed oil dripping to the ground not alot about 1-1 1/2" circle just after running it. But never drips just sitting there. You know I'll wipe it all up and it won't drip again until you drive it and park it. Looks like it's coming from above the starter cause starter is oily and then it runs down to bottom of bell houseing.Any Ideas and dollar costs to fix?

if it is comming from above the starter it could be a couple of things like the head, or the valve cover. its been my experence that it is normaly going to be a valve cover. the gasket dont cost that much (I dont think), as far as total cost it depends on if you can do it yourself or you are going to have it done somewhere. gl
