Help with a Canadian VIN

Was browsing through the list and did run across a similar VIN. Just looking for some help to decipher.

The truck was originally purchased in Saskatchewan...

4993530VK-56502

1957 F-350.

Thanks,
/sean

Sean, bump up the Ford Canada web site and e-mail Sandy in Archives. Oakville has all the old canadian info on record. I sent the glove box numbers, firewall numbers, engine block numbers and about 2 weeks later recieved a hard copy of info on Ford letter head telling me where and when my truck was built, original colour, original drive line, how many were produced, etc. She also had the info on the '51 car flatty that was in my'53 F-100. About the only question that couldn't be answered for sure was the correct engine colour. I also recieved colour photo-copies of 3 Ford brochures, one that has all the original paint colours for the truck's exterior. Hope this helps.
