i have the chance to purchase a 1996 f150. i am wondering what kind of horsepower, torque, and gas mileage to expect. the truck has the 302 v8 auto tranny with overdrive and its 2wd. im not sure what rearend gear it has, it does feel like its geared kindof high. thanks for any help you guys can give

 

Don't expect Honda like mileage out these trucks, but I have gotten 17.5 miles per gallon at 80 mph with 4.30 gears and 31" tires out of my truck. But one thing to consider is my truck is far from stock.
