Regional leaders

Some of the other chapters are doing this and I thought we could give it a try also. Basically you set up meets in your area, recruit new members in your area, and communicate with the chapter leader. If anyone is interested let me know.

I'd be willing to handle the NE, but if someone else is willing, it may be better due to my current lack of funds, I can't attend very far out from home. Whoever does it, in my opinion, needs to show up to the meets as well, and that is currently a problem for me.

I can do the central area after all I am located about the center of the state. I think the regional area is a good ideal. I just read the post in general and it sounds like kansas has had good results with it.

I think it will work for us it doesn't hurt to try anyway. I can handle the St Louis area and you can all let me know how everything is going in your area. Any help is still greatly appreciated though.

Anyone else interested or is anyone gonna try and have a get together in their area. If I have enough notice I can try and make it, it just depends on the day and if I can get off work. If I can't be there you can just let me and everyone else know how it goes.

I have been passing out cards and the local auto stores let me put up a flyer. I have talked to several people but no one is coming online yet that I know of. Now that I am off bed rest and can get around I will start working on it again.

I think this is a good idea for us since everyone is so spread out it will give everyone a chance to attend some kinda of meet that they don't have to travel to far to get to.

That's a big help 87, I have passed out some spotter cards too, but it is hard to tell if they work unless someone actually joins and says that is how they found the site. I'm glad to hear that you're getting better.

we could just work together on it... I can use the help, in that I don't get out that much. I had a flyer at the local Ford dealer, but I see they took it down... wasn't very nice of them... I have a bunch of the spotter's cards made up now, but go figure, I haven't been seeing much for trucks to tag...

That would be a good idea, for you both to work together. I know it's not easy but hopefully one day all our efforts will pay off.

Everyone still interested in doing this? Do we have anyone who would like to handle other areas?

I know with the holidays coming up it will be hard to get people together but with the day's being shorter and the weather not so great everyone will not have as many outside activities to keep them from coming to a meet.
