Gas is 2.09/2.19 around North English and Williamsburg, which is near Iowa City. Just talked to my sister and cousin that live in the DM,Ankeny, Ames area, they said they saw it for 1.91 up there...doesnt make sense that it is nearly 20cents a gallon more over here...but I guess ya gotta deal with it.
As of 11/23/05, 89 octane(the ethanol blend) is $2.02 a gallon at Caseys and Handimart in Williamsburg, and the 87 octane(non-ethanol blend) is $2.12. I don't remember the diesel prices as they do not concern me much directly, no diesel vehicles in my family's "fleet". I heard my sister say gas was around $1.90 in the DM, Ankeny, Johnston area though.
