Mid Fifties

I have been doing some research on installing a Toyota gear box on my 56 F 100. One place i hear mentioned about parts is "mid fiftys". I can not find this company anywhere on the internet. Can anyone post a link for this company? Or post contact information?
Thanks,
Mike

Thanks for all your help. I finally found their web site and have emailed them for request.
Their web site is a little dificult to navigate. Does anyone make a complete kit for power steering conversion for a Toyota box? [rebuilt Toyota box, pump, brackets, hoses, and pitman]

Call MidFifty and ask them to send you a copy of their printed catalog. It has lots of great tips on customizing and restoring these old Ford trucks that aren't on the website. They do sell a complete conversion kit with the steering box and hoses. It is a pricey way to go though. You might find a good used steering box locally for less money. I bought the conversion kit less the steering box that includes the mounting bracket, pitman arm, u-joint and hardware after I bought the steering box. That saved me about $300. I like their mounting bracket because it bolts to the 3 original mounting holes in the frame from the original steering box.

Another good supplier I have used is Classic Performance Parts or CPP in CA. They have a website at http://www.classicperform.com/4856fordtrk.htm
They sell the Toyo conversion also.

Thumbs up

CCP has complete kits for $625. Or you can buy seperate parts as you choose. Their web site is WWW.CLASSICPERFORM.COM. I have dealt with them before (brake components) and had any and all questions answered to my satisfaction.
