Question Work done on your Pickup?

Where are some of the good shops in this Lower Mainland place anyway?

Gonna take the 94 NISSAN 4x4 into local dealer for front axle work, anyone had bad experiences with any NISSAN dealers??

I usually go to an 'independant' shop if possible.
I recently had my outter tie rods done on my '88 and went to Budget Brake and Muffler on Royal Oak, just north of Imperial. Ken is my regular mechanic there and he does very good work, imo.

Yeah the dealers i've come to find (this is for anywhere) generally charge a little more, as all the parts are off their shelf and thus a little higher price. But if you do go to an indepentant shop make sure that when they say its needs something extra to go in and have them show you.

I have heard very good things about Kirkpatrick's on airport road Chwk
haven't had the chance to use them myself yet
also Randy's in Chwk
L & D trans was alright by me when he did my Astro van tranny
I've used Pro Auto but they tend to be pricey and replace it all and sort it out later
