Help with a part?

Ok so I need a part and thought I'd make a plee to the So Cal members. =)

I am looking for a running board brace for the drivers side of a 1955 f-100. I think it is the squared one as opposed to the rounded? It the the brace that it bolts onto the frame, which you bolt the running board into (closer to the rear). I didn't know that I was missing it until the shop thats redoing my tank called me and said.. you know your board is only supported one one side, and by the fenders.

I thought i'd see if anyone had anything for sale. Sacramento quoted $250.00 Mid-Fifty was 100.00 for one. Not that I'm cheap, but just bought all my books for this semester and turns out my daily needs a new distributor! Always one thing after another . . . thanks and if no one has anything thanks anyways, still love the site.

Mif-Fifty gets about $80 for one brace. You can have one fabricated easily by any welding shop if you take one of the other braces in for a pattern.

Yeah I guess I am going to grab one from them tomorrow, although they told me it was 100 even + shipping. Just one of many things to the list =)
