issues with my 1999 f150

The trans is leaking fluild from what appears to be a intermediate housing between the trans and transfer case. upon inspection there was missing some bolts on the trans side of the housing. how hard is it to replace the gasket there. does anyone have a picture ? I hope the trans case is not cracked.

there should be 6 13 mm headed bolts that hold the transfer case to the trans.you could try starting with all the bolts tightened up and see if that stops the leak.pulling the transfer case is kinda pain in the rump.

well upon inspection the left upper most ear is broken off the transmission case and the bolt was still in there. far as the other bolts, upper right is broken just under the head of the bolt. same as the one on the left side middle . its missing a bolt on the lower left and the other 2 bolt are there but???? I was hoping I may be able to remove the transfer case and remove the broken bolts and replace the gasket and just use some sealer for now. and get some grade 8 bolts has any one else experianced this

this is on my 99 f150 extcab long bed truck
