'79 3spd no 1 and R, shift tube replacement
Looks like the nub is worn off the shift tube in the column. CAn it be repaired? I looked at the LMC catalog and Dennis-Carpenter.com and they only list shift tubes for 73-77 manual steering trucks or 78-79 with power steering. My truck is a 79 F-100 manual steering, 3 spd on the column. Where can I find a replacement or how do I repair mine? The Ford dealer only lists parts back to 1980. Will the 73-77 tubes fit? What about the 78-79 power steering shift tube?

In most cases the nub is not worn, but the tack weld that holds it in place is broke. You will generaly find lying between the tube and the mast jacket.
It can be rewelded to the tube. If it is worn away making a new one should be easy enough. Just be sure to mark it position on the tube so you can get the new one in the right place.
