One of the ladies at work knows one of the cops working the case and apparently this guy came in and shot his estranged girlfriend, then shot the 10 yr old girl, and then offed himself. I can't believe something like that happened in our tiny city. This is 'Small Town, USA'. And I can't believe it happened in my neighborhood. And I really can't believe that this retard snuffed the life of a child. That really really ticks me off. I have no compassion for anyone that hurts a child. Anyway pray for the family and friends. I did not know them, but I'll be praying for them.
I live in the neighborhood right across the street. That is way to close for comfort. Seen a cop car on garnett, but we thought it was taking radar in the construction. Later on the way back, saw the whole force of Owasso along with channel 6. Of course, we turned the news on right when we walked in the house, but missed the story. Last i heard, they cleared the brother of the lady, but have several more suspects they are interested in.

Ya, first the murder/suicide at work, now a possible triple murder in our own neigborhood. Makes me wonder. Maybe it's a sign that we need to be movin' on? Who knows.
Update: The police questioned the brother and he's cleared, but now they don't think the boyfriend(recently turned husband) is the perp. I take back my comment on him being the retard that snuffed the life of a 10yr child. But now the police believe someone else is responsible for all three deaths. Great. I think we'll be locking the doors more often than usual for a while. It was weird driving by the culdasac on Friday afternoon and seeing all the police cars, news vans, and a tent in their driveway being filled with their belongings,evidence, and such.
Glad to see they caught all 3 suspects. Turns out it's a drug deal gone bad.

Murder in My Neighborhood This Morning
