Just a thought, how about using a ford dealership to host a member gathering, just like the local restruants do with hot rod and vintage cars owners. I think this would be a public relations coo as well as a way to move traffic thru their showroom! As well as a great place to meet, it will be easy to find, and a way for ford truck owners to be in good company!
Go figure, I go away and they ave meets. Sheesh, dont you all know that your supposed to halt all meets til i get back?????
Just sayin hi to everyone from here in Fort Bliss Tx

maybe we can get all of our nicer trucks into 1 dealership like a small show . that said dealer could possibly pickup a sale or 2 from people looking at our rides. like mine is a 05 loaded lariat sc swb v10 something a dealer would not have in stock to show off.
i know we have members with rides even better that would show a ford and what could be done.
THANKS, fredric, I think so, but she looks a little worn...I catch alot of guff from co-workers on her, but I think they're jealous!!! But everytime I look at my truck, I still get 'that' feeling that no chevy, dodge or rice burner truck owner can get...(you know the feeling I'm talkin 'bout!)

I live in an "old" estate section... come down the road and it's jag, porsche, benz, jag, porsche... then my driveway... '99 cv, '93 crewcab, '93 delta 88, a 93 continental, and occasionally projects and junk depending on the week.
Two weeks ago, I had a 96 Chevy dually cube van in the driveway, minus the top half of the van front part, and about 2/3 of the top of the cube part. The rest of it was intact. I disassembled it, and hauled off the parts I didn't want, and sold the rest piece by piece.
Then as you go past my house... benz, lexus, escalades, etc.
Dispite the "old money" they are pretty cool neighbors, half of them are my age (late 30's) to about mid 40's, the other half are way in their 90's. They've even tolerated big blocks revving to insane rpm's with open headers, while tuing EFI stuff with friends. I just rotate which neighbor I aim the headers at to spread the love
fredreick, as the gas prices have shot up over $1, and alot of gas stations are running out around here, I am going to have to abort my trip up to your place...
I was really looking forward to taking my truck on a road trip, especially to a place where other Ford truck owners would be...but I gotta play it safe and make sure I can get to work next week in my rice burning misercar...so, sorry 'bout that...

I know how you feel! My truck definitely has that "well used" look to it..
