Does anyone know anything about OMC marine Heads and Intake for a 351W? I got a super deal on a set of heads and intake from an OMC marine engine. I am sure that these parts will directly interchange with the current heads and intake, but what is the difference between a marine and automotive application? The OMC model number of the engine is 584APRMED the head casting number is 8C29 E8JLAA. these heads and engine were freshly rebuilt before the bottom end of the motor grenaded.

I plan on using these heads and intake for a 351W engine that I plan on rebuilding that is currently installed in my 66 F100.

 

usually most marine heads that I have seen, are identical to the automotive. The intake may be a little different, not sure. The marine head should have brass expansion plug.
