Clutch slave cylinder

Clutch slave cylinder
I have a 2000 F-350 4wd, diesel, 6sp., 130000 km. My clutch pedal went right to the floor as I was about to shift from 3rd to 4th. The clutch never disengaged. I can pull it up off the floor but when I push it down it stays on the floor. I can hear the hydraulic fluid moving when I push the pedal down but the clutch stays engaged. It was working perfectly up to the time this happenned.

I am not sure about the slave cylinder or master cylinder but I have experienced the same thing on my truck and I thought is was the slave cylinder but it turn out to be a spring that broke under the dash that pulls the clutch pedal back out it may not hurt to check that. I know mine would go all the way to the floor and you could take your hand and pull it back out, but still the clutch would stay engaged. hope this might help you.
