Turbo on a 5.4

Anyone ever heard of sticking a turbo or even twins to a 5.4L? Could it be done and what kinds of problems could you expect?

I'm sure it could be done. Someone should make a kit for it by now. Other than tons of power, blown spark plugs if not properly torqued would be the biggest problem that I could think of.

couldn't you use the turbo setup from a wrecked powerstroke? like rebuild the turbo, pop in the intercooler and fit the boost tubes to their application? or is that just a crappy, jerry-rigged way of doing it?

Check out "Crash" at trixters racing. They have turbo and procharger "kits" that make crazy power. Looks like they're well engineered also.

I've already checked it out...I don't know what kind of setup they're running, but I know it's on the 4.6L.
