it's in Knoxville this weekend (also the marion county fair this week, and I think they have racing all week too but not sure) but you can probably forget getting into the nationals my understanding is you had to by your tickets by last sept to get any.
Oh and I hate this week in Knoxville guess it's not so bad since I don't drive for HyVee anymore but was always a pain trying to get a semi through that place.

I had a 94 Taurus back in Highschool...former police vehicle. Anyways, when the first transmission was failing, my uncle had a transmission shop up there that he trusted, so I had to drive it up there to have it looked at and have him tell me EXACTLY what I had already diagnosed, then pay 50 bucks. Talk about rough, driving a vehicle through crowded busy streets that IF YOU STOPPED it would fall out of gear AND NOT MOVE AGAIN. Yeah, I've got mad skills. I will never go through knoxville again with nationals going.
the mess , the crowds, the heat, the potholes etc.. is all a part of the knoxville nationals, i usually go up every year, this year not because of the twins being here now. but it is great and a awesome weekend event. you gotta get to this event if you can. there anit no racing like sprint car racing. 4 wheels a big fat alcohol burning monster a fat wing on top, he who has the biggest ***** wins
