'76 F250 A/C compressor question

Hello-
I have a '76 F250 w/360 and the previous owner removed the A/C compressor, mounting brackets, idler pulley, etc. I would like to replace the compressor and mounting components by pulling one from the junkyard, but am wondering if the mounting hardware will differ depending on the engine from which I pull the compressor. Do I need to get one specifically from an FE truck with A/C or will any A/C setup work for that vintage truck (73-79)? Thanks for any help!
ps-I'm replacing/rebuilding the evaporator housing; the original melted at the bottom and left a huge hole!

The compressor can come off any Ford pickup/car in the 70's and early 80's, but the engine brackets need to come off a '73-'76 F100-F350 with a FE. The pre '73 FE pickups and all FE cars have different brackets. I've been looking all summer for my FE a/c brackets and still haven't found any.
