Question How Often Do You Wash Your "Ride"?

When it is nice out I wash my car every week. When it is not so nice out it gets done every couple weeks. In the winter depends. I try to take it to the drive-thru touchless wash once a week but it depends.

All this is true with all of my vehicles. Even my 1985 Plymouth Horizon I used to have, not just my Focus.

Well not as much as you Focus driving ricers do......but.......

Usually after every offroad trip and about 3 times during the summer and about every 2 weeks in the winter to get the salt off......

Only when I really want it to rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Ranger doesn't get out much, so it's not "my ride".
The tow truck gets washed after the rain or going into a scrap yard that's a mud hole. I've all but given up on the carpets in the tow truck. That's one thing that's high on my "Stupid Idea" list, having carpets in a work truck.
Windows are another PITA, won't stay clean for a week, regular chore.
So, Don't get me started on windows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wash my bronco when I can't stand looking at the dirt any more, and I'm not too tired from work. It depends on how dusty or wet the roads are.

My ranger gets hosed off once in a while, but that's about it. I can't see the dirt on it too well. I do try to keep it's windows clean though.

Usually once a week unless it's snowing. I usually give it a daily morning quick rinse just to keep the dust from accumulating. The rinse sometimes can stretch out the wash cycle for an extra week if the weather is good. We have good water here so I don't have to worry about water spots.

Not very often. Truck gets washed when it comes out of storage and then several times over the summer depending on how dirty it gets. Car gets washed whenever my wife starts complaining about getting dirty when she touches it. Actually should wash the car more often now, since our 15 month old keeps trying to be helpful trying to open the doors so we can put her and our 2 week old in, and her whole body ends up touching the side of the car.

Not as often I should. Usually just when it's really dirty or maybe a nice day to be outside. In the winter I do it when I'm passin' the car wash and the thought occurs to me..."Hey I think my truck could use a wash".

Usually wash the ranger every 1-2 weeks in the spring and summer when it doesn't rain. Winter time--quick rinse now and then if weather permits. I do a wax in the spring and again in the fall. Seems to keep looking pretty good!

I should be doing it whenever possible in the winter, although I've been lazy.
