Hi guys,

I have an 88' F250, inline 6 with a 4 speed manual (creeper gear) I want to change out the sloppy stock shifter. I'm looking at buying a hurst 4 speed manual shifter. Does anyone have an idea if this will fit the T-18 trans that i have?

Go here and look for yourself. M5OD is mentioned, but not your T18.

Perhaps you can rebuild your shifter and tighten it up a bit, but it isn't made for short throw fast shifting and can't be made to be.
