Yes we drive on the "wrong side of the road".
And yes, we had late 70's F-Series produced in RHD here in Australia.

We have RHD F-250's and F-350's based off the 2001 platform, alot of the components are similar to the 2003 - steering, suspension, axles etc., however the diesel changed to the 6.0l in 2003, and to the torqshift trans as well..

What in particular where you after?

They might have been waving at you Tim, but I don't think it was to represent a friendly gesture.

Were they only waving with one finger?

BTW Fred, seems to me I heard somewhere that if you import a LHD vehicle to Australia, it MUST be converted to RHD, they won't allow it on the road with LHD. Is that true?

Thats correct.

You can run a LHD vehicle, but it has to have special certification from a registered government engineer, and be over 25years old.

Ferrari did run a LHD car here briefly when they circumnavigated the globe in a F355 for thier aniversary, but that required an allowance from the federal government.

We have some of the strictest automotive laws (bar Singapore), certain states require a full roadworthy annually, which includes around 500 different things being checked (mostly safety related).
