If any Y'all would like a local GTG over a BBQ and a picnic table - post local area and date here, and lets see what happens.

I'm with you. I don't have meat for a BBQ but I do have a freezer full of fish I can cook. I'll see if I can get a cookout going. Anybody in Tn like fryed crappie?

 

Naifehs in Munford has ground beast for 95 cents a pound in family packs right now - I may have to go back and grab some more!

What part of TN are you located in? I'm in south Tipton County near Atoka, just north of Memphis/Shelby.

 

I live in collierville. Its in east shelby co.. We had a good cookout at the state park at Shelby Meman a couple of yrs ago. I rented a pavilion there for $50. I've chipped in on renting them at other state parks. The state parks are cheap to use & offer good places to have a GTG.

 

State parks are great! Camping (basic) is usually around ten bucks, but bring quarters for the shower....

What I'd like to find is a place on the big river where we could stay over and bag a lot of catfish!

Catfish on the grill is a treat, and I have a turkey cooker that could do up a catfish stew no problemo! Far as I know the propane tank is still full. Could also boil corn.
