heater core/heater hoses
I thought that I had a bad heater core because I can smell antifreeze in the truck pretty bad when the ac is on. Tonight I notice a steady stream of antifreeze leaking from under the truck right behind the passanger side front wheel. I have checked the carpet, it is not wet. I have checked the hoses as best as I could (just by looking). and I cant seem to figure out where it is leaking from. I have also noticed some steam from the exhaust like I have a blown head gasket but the oil and antifreeze is clean. By the way it is a 97 F150 with a 4.6. Thanks

Roger on the heater core. Now what do you mean by stream from the exhaust? smoke? if so what color, water, (clear or colored). If it is plan water coming out then that is normal, the cats doing it's job, most mufflers will have a small hole in the muffler for the water to leak out of (so the system does not rust the pipes out) or it will go through the system and out the tail pipe.
