85 Bronco II stalling out.

I just got an 85 Ford Bronco II and after driving about 15 minutes it starts to jerk and die. If it cools for a while it will start up. It is missing its fan shroud and it will do it even if it is not too hot out. Can it be Vapor Lock? It is carbed.
